Uber Weekly service fee Video
Challenge: Uber drivers often feel frustrated by service fees and may not understand where the money goes. Uber tasked me with creating a short video to show the value drivers receive and clarify the breakdown of third-party fees, ensuring it was simple, visually compelling, and easy to digest.
The Approach: I set out to create a video that balanced clear, concise messaging with engaging visuals. By breaking down the complex fee structure into easily understandable elements, I helped drivers see the full picture of how earnings and costs are allocated, emphasizing transparency and value.
Uber Shared Rides
Challenge: Many Uber drivers are unclear about where service fees go, leading to frustration. I was tasked with creating a short, engaging video to clarify that Uber doesn't keep all of the fees and to show the value drivers get when they earn with Uber.
Approach: I simplified the fee breakdown with clear, digestible messaging and visually engaging elements. The video emphasized transparency and value while staying true to Uber’s brand, helping drivers better understand how their earnings and costs are allocated.
Uber Taxi Social
The Challenge: With the launch of Uber Taxi, Uber aimed to address market demand by making traditional taxis accessible through the app. The challenge was to educate customers about the unique benefits of Uber Taxi, and needed a campaign that would not only inform but also encourage both churned and new users in key markets to try Uber Taxi.
Approach: We created social assets that highlighted the mix of traditional taxi familiarity with Uber's convenience and safety, designed to boost awareness and encourage trial in key markets.
Uber Merchant Impact Report
Challenge:
Uber Eats, with over 890,000 merchant partners across 11,000+ cities, wanted to highlight the economic impact and priorities of its U.S. merchants. Uber's policy and comms team had gathered extensive data, but the existing report lacked the visual appeal and regional adaptability needed to resonate with various audiences. The challenge was to restructure this report into a compelling, humanized story while also creating scalable assets for regional markets.
Approach: We restructured Uber’s data into a visually engaging story that connected with diverse audiences. Additionally, we designed a flexible 1-pager template, empowering cities and regions to showcase their unique insights and data.
